Voting on the five-yeadr offer by members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 will continue through Union leaders are not making a recommendatio n to their members on thecontract offer, whicyh the union complains would cut pension benefits by an averagse of $100,000 -- a conclusion disputed by management. “It’s a good contract in a normal economy. It’ s a great contract in this economy,” King Sooperss spokeswoman Diane Mulligan saidlast week. She said roughlu 65 percent of workers woulc get raises underthe company’s proposal.
