Baltimore CFOs don't expect to hire in Q3 - Baltimore Business Journal:

Of the 200 chiet financial officers surveyed in the Baltimore 82 percent anticipate no change in hiringt duringthe quarter, according to the Financial Hirinb Index. Six percent of CFOs in Baltimorer responded that they plan to add accountinhg and finance staff durin g thethird quarter. Nine percent anticipate trimming theird staff duringthe quarter. CFOs surveyed work at companiex with 20 ormore employees. “Many companies remain hesitant to commit to addinf staff until they are certain of aneconomifc recovery,” said Max Messmer, CEO of Menl o Park, Calif.-based staffing firm Robert Half Internationak (NYSE: RHI).
“In the most firms are working with theidr current teams to managekey initiatives, with some employera also bringing in project professionalsd to assist with rising workloads and support full-tim e personnel.”
